Our client, a well-established and growing transportation company, is seeking an experienced Driver Manager to join its operations team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a transportation professional who excels at leading drivers, improving operational performance, and building a positive, safety-focused culture. This position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of an assigned fleet of company drivers and independent contractors. This highly visible role is accountable for service execution, safety, productivity, quality, driver retention, and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Transportation operations or fleet management experience.
- Strong leadership and employee coaching skills.
- Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with dispatch, load planning, and driver management systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while balancing multiple priorities.
Compensation:
• $60K – $75K
