An established, asset-based trucking company is seeking a driven Account Executive to join its growing Logistics Division. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional who thrives on building new business and delivering customized supply chain solutions.
Position Overview:
The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new business across a portfolio of services, including truckload brokerage, freight management, and contract logistics. This role is ideal for someone who understands the logistics landscape and can develop strategic relationships with shippers to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within target markets
- Sell logistics solutions including truckload brokerage, managed transportation, and contract logistics services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure service excellence
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience within transportation, logistics, or brokerage
- Proven track record of new business development and revenue generation
- Strong understanding of truckload, freight brokerage, and/or managed transportation services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
