Role Overview
In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing new truckload brokerage business, forging strong client relationships, and building a robust pipeline of opportunities. Looking for someone who thrives on independence and results, ready to cover their costs within about 90 days and beyond. You’ll enjoy the freedom of gaining new clients, allowing you full ownership of your growth path.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients to expand our truckload brokerage network
- Develop a strategic sales pipeline focused on sustainable, long-term business growth
- Negotiate and close deals that align with both client needs and company goals
- Collaborate closely with our carrier team to ensure smooth execution and outstanding service delivery
- Continuously track market trends to anticipate opportunities and adapt outreach accordingly
Requirements
- Proven experience in truckload brokerage business development or related sales role within the freight or logistics industry with no non-compete or non-solicit restrictions.
- Strong network and ability to build meaningful client relationships
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a clear focus on meeting and exceeding targets
- Comfort with a remote work environment and managing your pipeline independently
- Ability to cover your operational costs within approximately 90 days as part of a sustainable business approach
